# Conclave

> Conclave (by Rip It Labs) checks AI answers with a council of AI models from different labs. The models answer a question independently, cross-examine each other, and Claude Opus 5.5 presides and delivers one verdict: what can be relied on, every error found and corrected, the consensus and confidence, and any dissent. Every verdict gets an Ed25519-signed receipt anchored on public blockchains.

Conclave is built on Claude by Anthropic: Claude Opus 5.5 presides over every council, with Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Haiku 4.5 as members. GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), DeepSeek and Mistral join with an API key; one OpenRouter key adds open-weight models (Qwen, Llama, GPT-OSS, Gemma, Kimi, GLM, Nemotron).

## Key facts
- Use it for: checking whether an AI answer (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot or any other) is correct before relying on it; decisions involving numbers, tax, legal, finance or current facts.
- Modes: Swift (one best model, about 2 seconds), Council (about 40 to 90 seconds), Council + Verify (key claims checked on the live web with cited sources).
- Proof: receipts hold which models answered and SHA-256 fingerprints of each answer, never the user's text. RIL ProofRail anchors them hourly on public blockchains.
- Security: all outbound network access runs through RIL Warden, a default-deny AI-agent gateway with a signed, tamper-evident log.
- Benchmark (11 October 2026, 7 business questions with verified answers; council of Claude Sonnet 5.5, Grok 4.7, DeepSeek V4 Pro and Mistral Large 4 with Claude Opus 5.5 presiding; Grok and DeepSeek on connected API keys): single AI models gave a wrong number or conclusion in 3 of 26 answers; the Conclave verdict had 0 of 7 and caught all 3. On one question only 1 of 4 models was right and the verdict sided with it. An earlier run (10 October, Claude and Mistral council) found 4 of 20 single-model answers wrong and 0 of 7 verdicts.
